Chapter 1 - To Keep the Bargain

Ispan Shefar / Ispan — aliases: Shadowrunner, Black Ajah

Ispan Shefar kneels bound with a sack over her head, wearing torn clothes and having been dosed with herbs that make her dizzy and giggly. She is guarded by Kirstian and the Knitting Circle.

Chapter 2 - Unweaving

Ispan

Ispan Shefar, hooded and bound, is carried by the Knitting Circle across the clearing. She sags and bobs from the effects of herbs and exhaustion as she is moved to the side.

Chapter 3 - A Pleasant Ride

Ispan — aliases: Sedai

Ispan Shefar is carried by the Knitting Circle, hooded and bound, suffering from the effects of herbs and exhaustion. She remains a silent, passive figure around whom the Kin and Aes Sedai argue.

Chapter 4 - A Quiet Place

Ispan — aliases: the Black Ajah, the Darkfriend

Ispan is seated in a chair with her head bare, guarded by Adeleas and Vandene. She claims to serve the lawful Amyrlin Seat and threatens Elayne and Aviendha with punishment, but shrinks back when Aviendha intimidates her with a knife. She eventually widens her eyes in fear when Elayne orders the older sisters to leave.

Chapter 6 - Threads

Ispan

Ispan Shefar is brought out shielded and hooded with a sack over her head. She walks easily and offers no resistance as she is boosted into a saddle, appearing amenable.

Chapter 20 - Into Andor

Ispan — aliases: Darkfriend, Taraboner woman

Ispan travels with the group, initially hooded and later unhooded but shielded. She becomes increasingly meek and ingratiating toward Adeleas and Vandene during nightly interrogations, showing little resistance but providing little useful information.
