Alviarin returns from her two-week absence, intercepts the Sitters, and confronts Elaida with evidence of treason. She slaps the Amyrlin, forces her to sign a decree acknowledging Rand al’Thor, and later reports to Mesaana, receiving orders to spy on the Ajah heads.
