Adeleas leans forward in her saddle to speak to Aviendha, advising her to let herself be guided by the Aes Sedai. Her tone is mild but firm, lacking the suggestion of choice in Aviendha's compliance.

Chapter 3 - A Pleasant Ride

Adeleas intervenes in a dispute between Aviendha and the Sea Folk, suggesting Aviendha intimidate the Windfinders to restore balance against the Aiel bargain. Elayne later dismisses Vandene Namelle's arguments that the Kin are unsuitable to guard Ispan due to their apparent age and lack of 'different flesh'.

Adeleas remains below the hilltop with Vandene, sequestered with Ispan Shefar. She is not present on the hill during the weaving.

Adeleas helps guard Ispan Shefar, bringing her out shielded and hooded as the group prepares to flee.
