Beonin, a Gray sister, joins the group in Tel'aran'rhiod and helps sift through Elaida's dreamscape documents. She is caught in the nightmare and escapes with the group, left panting and wide-eyed after her dress is clawed to shreds.

Beonin firmly tells Tarna that the Hall has asked for more time and cannot predict their decision. She later insists that every letter of the law must be met to avoid slipping up.

Beonin pauses for a sip of tea before setting her cup and saucer down on a rickety-legged side table. She states that if there are ill effects from the travel, Egwene can be Healed, and then observes the group dynamics with a calm demeanor.

Beonin explains the legal technicality allowing an Accepted to become Amyrlin, assists in the preparation by providing a dress, and later reveals that a refused Amyrlin is usually exiled.
