Chapter 2 - Two Captains

He navigates the traveling show camp while managing tensions with Egeanin and Domon over command and disguise. He discovers Seanchan soldiers inspecting Luca's horse warrant, learns the troupe will depart soon, and checks on his hidden companions before hearing his luck-dice warning signal imminent danger.
Chapter 3 - A Fan of Colors
Mat / Mat Cauthon
He wrestles with his dice warning and confronts Egeanin over command before visiting Tuon. After shaking her hand, the dice stop, and he learns of Tylin's death from a gholam. He later refuses Joline's plan to divert north and experiences a vivid vision of colors pointing to Rand.
