Waits for Perrin each morning with a hardened demeanor and constant anger, now displaying possessive jealousy toward anyone else interacting with his lord. He leads Stepper to Perrin, expresses distrust of Balwer and Selande's group, and remains close as they discuss camp strategy.

Chapter 6 - The Scent of a Dream

Rides alongside Perrin, draws his sword at the scent of wrongness before sheathing it on orders. He reluctantly returns to camp to warn Dannil about the Darkhounds, then watches as Perrin displays the tracks to the guards.

Chapter 7 - Blacksmith’s Puzzle

Stands smugly without fear as the group examines the Darkhound tracks, later crowding beside Perrin with a scowl when Masema's forces approach.

Chapter 8 - Whirlpools of Color

Urges fighting despite the odds, rides ahead to fetch Grady, and follows Perrin through the gateway with his sword drawn while navigating the snowy underbrush.

Chapter 25 - When to Wear Jewels

Aram

Stays behind due to his increasingly touchy and confrontational behavior, scowls at the Mayeners and Ghealdanin, and bumps into Two Rivers men without apologizing.

Chapter 27 - What Must Be Done

Aram

Stands beside Masema pleading for the prisoner, then later reports that all five captives gave uniform answers claiming they never saw Faile. Grimly suggests killing them to prevent escape.
