Caraline intercepts Rand and Min in the woods with a crossbow, eventually accepting their disguises and escorting them to the rebel camp. She warns Rand about Cadsuane and reveals that Toram Riatin seeks her hand in marriage.

Caraline challenges Rand to the sword fight, warns Min to leave, and follows the group through the fog. She helps carry Rand in the wagon to the palace and remains at his bedside during the healing attempts.
