Merilille arrives early from her scouting mission, appearing weary but delivering urgent intelligence that the Borderlander rulers are still encamped and have sent riders to meet Elayne. She agrees to return immediately with Elayne.

Chapter 27 - To Surprise Queens and Kings

Merilille — aliases: Merilille Sedai

Merilille rides ahead to deliver the letter of invitation and serves as an intermediary during the meeting, though she slips up by referring to Elaida's schism, requiring Elayne to intervene. She accompanies Elayne back to Caemlyn and defends Elayne's need for sleep against Norry.
