Saerin, a Brown Ajah Sitter, arrives in the basement with Talene, Yukiri, and Doesine to investigate Seaine and Pevara. She challenges their authority, seizes the Oath Rod from Seaine, and tests herself for Black Ajah affiliation, allowing the others to test themselves using the Rod.
