Aviendha rides with Rand, visibly uncomfortable and resentful of his use of Laman's sword. Chapter 31 - The Far Snows

Aviendha enters Rand's chamber to bathe but flees in panic into a snowy wilderness when he appears. After falling through ice and becoming unconscious, she is rescued by Rand and warms in his arms. Aviendha holds the injured Egwene, asserts her own survival due to Lanfear's lesser grip on her, and stands defiantly before the Wise Ones.
Chapter 54 - To Caemlyn
Aviendha — aliases: Maiden
Aviendha accompanies Rand to Caemlyn, watching him with intense scrutiny and maintaining her vow not to let him touch her. She is nearly killed by a lightning bolt from the sky but survives.
Chapter 55 - The Threads Burn

Aviendha fights alongside the Aiel against the Trollocs in Caemlyn, losing her headscarf in the battle. She is found by Rand in the aftermath of the fight, where she expresses relief at his survival.
