Chapter 2 - A New Arrival

Taim enters the palace guarded by Bashere’s men, mocking Bashere and challenging Rand’s authority before submitting to the Dragon Reborn. He presents Rand with a seal of the Dark One found at a farm, claiming ignorance of its significance, and agrees to go to the farm to see where it was discovered.

Chapter 3 - A Woman’s Eyes

Taim is transported to a farm to test the twenty-seven men for the ability to channel. He demonstrates his own power, tests Damer Flinn and Kely Huldin with a small flame, and announces that he will find more students to teach. He questions the utility of his role but acknowledges the need to teach quickly, noting that Damer is far from ready.

Chapter 11 - Lessons and Teachers

Taim instructs his seven students on weaving shields with Fire and Earth, criticizing their incompetence. Taim appears via gateway to kill the Gray Man assassin before he can reach Rand, delivering news of a new male channeler, Jahar Narishma, and discussing the defenses Sammael might employ before departing.

Chapter 42 - The Black Tower

Taim leads the Black Tower farm, punishing a disrespectful student and overseeing the training of over a hundred new male channelers. He receives the Asha’man badges from Rand, justifies the name 'Black Tower,' and reports on the interception of recruits by Red sisters.
