Wears long sleeves to conceal bruises and flinches at both Phil's touches and Garrett's approach, revealing deep-seated fear from prolonged abuse. She cooks the entire Thanksgiving meal while constantly trying to keep Phil calm through forced compliance and compliments. When Garrett reveals he knows about his violence and offers her help, she becomes stunned and tearful but accepts his support.
