Jaichim Carridin, an Inquisitor of the Hand of the Light, meets with masked Taraboner nobles to arrange for the Children of the Light to secure the Panarch’s Palace for the Lady Amathera. After the meeting, he is confronted by Liandrin, who uses the One Power to subdue him, reveals her Black Ajah identity, and forces him to obey her orders to control the Palace.
