Aviendha rides with the Maidens of the Spear and later leads the search party that finds the buried Portal Stone. She confronts Rand about his treatment of Elayne, stating she will try to like him for Egwene's sake. She stands stiffly as Rhuarc reveals his knowledge of Rhuidean and watches the activation with an imperturbable demeanor.
