Bair reprimands Egwene for her tardiness and discusses the Aiel's endurance of change with the other Wise Ones. She reveals Aviendha's punishment for lying and mocks Melaine's romantic prospects, before ordering both Egwene and Aviendha to run fifty laps around the camp as punishment for their stubbornness.

Bair joins Amys and Melaine at the scene of the Draghkar's destruction. She cackles as she accepts a wager from Amys about Dorindha's affections, then follows Melaine away to look for disturbances while leaving Egwene to deal with Rand.
