Prologue

Moghedien — aliases: Marigan (Marigan), Forsaken (Abandonado)

Mantida como prisioneira sob a fachada de Marigan, Moghedien permite que Nynaeve use uma ligação ter'angreal para detectar a presença da estagnação, ao mesmo tempo em que fornece informações sobre a Era dos Legados e o clima. Nynaeve interpreta essa detecção como prova de que a estagnação pode ser curada.

Moghedien is forced to do laundry in the yard, reacting with shame and outrage. She later participates in a lesson with Nynaeve, teaching the forms to detect a man's channeling while Nynaeve guides the flows, displaying a mix of fear and professional satisfaction.

Chapter 12 - Questions and Answers

Moghedien — aliases: Marigan (Marigan)

Moghedien sits calmly while Nynaeve sweats, mocking Nynaeve's fear and the Aes Sedai's potential to torture her. She suggests Nynaeve and Elayne flee to Rand, asserting that she is now more of an equal than a captive.

Chapter 37 - When Battle Begins

Moghedien — aliases: Marigan (Marigan)

Moghedien, disguised as the woman 'Marigan', appears before Egwene under the control of the a'dam. She reveals her identity by shifting her appearance back to her true form, then explains how to travel by making places in the Pattern identical. She cowers in terror when Egwene threatens her and watches in shock as Egwene creates a gateway.
