Sunamon si avvicina a Rand con deferenza, cercando di placarlo con rassicurazioni secondo cui i contadini non si ribelleranno nonostante i tagli alle tasse, e si unisce agli altri Alto Lord mentre Rand afferma la sua volontà.

Sunamon assiste Meilan nella presentazione del trattato a Rand e rimane scioccata mentre il documento brucia, fuggendo infine con Meilan sotto minaccia di morte.

High Lord Sunamon is forced to guarantee a treaty with Mayene, threatened with hanging by Rand if he fails. He jumps in fear when addressed and turns sickly green as the nobles laugh at his plight, standing helpless before the Dragon Reborn.
