Lanfear / Selene

Selene appare nelle stanze di Rand, rivelandosi come la Forsaken Lanfear, affermando che Rand appartiene a lei e cercando di convincerlo a unirsi a lei per governare il mondo sotto il Dominio Oscuro prima che uccida un assassino che ha inviato.

Chapter 10 - The Stone Stands

Lanfear — aliases: the Daughter of the Night (la Figlia della Notte)

Lanfear appare a Rand durante la battaglia, affermando di non aver orchestrato l'attacco e che gli piace vedere lui incerto e meno arrogante. Dimostra la sua capacità di contrastare il suo Canale, gli permette di fuggire per recuperare Callandor e specula sul fatto che non cercherà di ucciderlo finché crede di poterlo riconquistare.

Chapter 50 - Traps

Lanfear

Lanfear appears in Rand's dream in a pond, interacting with him before revealing her identity. She bites his neck, leaving a wound, and argues with a blurred male figure before vanishing. She is physically present in the dream narrative.

Chapter 57 - A Breaking in the Three-fold Land

Lanfear

Lanfear appears to Rand within his protective rain dome, revealing that Asmodean has fled Rhuidean to find a sa'angreal. She attempts to seduce Rand. Rand creates a doorway to follow Asmodean, stepping through it and leaving Lanfear behind.

Chapter 58 - The Traps of Rhuidean

Lanfear / Isendre / Mierin — aliases: Forsaken (Abbandonato)

Lanfear appare dopo che Rand sconfigge Asmodean, rivelando il suo nome come Mierin. Costringe Asmodean a servire Rand e rivela di aver punito Isendre Kadere per furto. Avverte Rand riguardo agli altri Forsaken e si allontana attraverso una porta magica.
