Ila, Raen's plump wife, tends to Perrin's wound with bandages and a poultice. She asserts authority over Raen and Ihvon, dismissing the men to let her treat the patient, and expresses sorrow that Perrin might never find the Way of the Leaf.

Chapter 42 - A Missing Leaf

Ila, la moglie del capo dei Tinker, si prende cura della ferita di Perrin nel suo carro e in seguito lo aiuta ad abbigliarsi. Parla della filosofia della Via della Foglia quando Raen rifiuta la supplica di Perrin di trovare rifugio in un villaggio, mantenendo i principi nomadi dei Tinker.

Ila, the Tuatha’an leader’s wife, screams in distress as Aram picks up the sword, grieving that her grandson is abandoning their beliefs after losing her daughter and grandchildren to the Trollocs.
