Estean, il signore più ricco e ubriaco al tavolo, insulta gli Aiel e fa osservazioni volgari sulle donne, creando tensione al tavolo. In seguito chiede a Mat di parlare con il Signore Drago riguardo al suo proclama sui comuni e sui grandi signori.

High Lord Estean, Torean's eldest son, shouts a cheer for the Dragon Reborn and half-supports his father as Rand leaves the chamber. He is identified by his lumpy face and resemblance to his father.
