Bael, the tallest of the chiefs, lies far from Jheran due to a blood feud between their clans. He notes that he has seen men running from the bleakness among his own sept and joins Jheran in calling the Shaido honorless dogs.

Bael leads the Aiel forces into Caemlyn, waiting in the gateway and standing by Rand with a flat, unreadable gaze as the Aiel stream through, while the battle rages around them.

Chapter 55 - The Threads Burn

Bael, a clan chief, limps up to Rand with Sulin after the battle, reporting that the Nightrunners and Shadowtwisted are fleeing and that some Queen's Guards have joined the fight against the Shadowspawn.
