Prologue

Morgase — aliases: Queen of Andor (Regina di Andor)

Morgase gioca a una partita di pietre con Pedron Niall, vincendo esponendo le sue trappole, mentre mantiene una facciata di sottomissione. È tenuta come prigioniera nella Fortezza della Luce, utilizzata come leva politica contro Andor. Interagisce con Niall e successivamente lo guarda mentre viene assassinato, mantenendo la sua compostezza mentre le dinamiche di potere tra i Figli della Luce cambiano, con Eamon Valda che si posiziona per succedergli.

Morgase suffers from trauma and shame, realizing she is no longer safe in the Fortress. She is captured by Suroth and forced to witness the enslavement of damane and da'covale. After hearing Suroth's offer, Morgase silently abdicates her throne to Elayne and agrees to Balwer's escape plan, fleeing Amador on a horse.

Chapter 26 - The Irrevocable Words

Lini is Morgase's nurse. She argues with Breane about the escape plan, slaps at Breane to silence her, and physically pulls Morgase away from the window after hearing the abdication, fleeing the city with the group.
