Juilin arrives at the circuit, reports that Elayne, Nynaeve, Aviendha, and Birgitte have left in a coach, and relays Mat's instruction for Thom to return as soon as possible before returning to his duties.

Chapter 21 - Swovan Night

Juilin sits with the group, feigning outrage at Nynaeve's accusation of prying and playing stones with Thom. He participates in Elayne's illusion disguising and agrees to leave the room to start a new game with Thom, sullenly glancing back at the women before departing.

Chapter 28 - Bread and Cheese

Juilin accompanies Mat and Thom into the palace. He observes the house from the bench alongside Thom and others. Vanin later reports that Jaichim Carridin purchased a plan of the Tarasin Palace.

Juilin Carral helps Mat pack, carrying his unstrung bow and quiver. He accompanies Mat into the street to search for Olver, following his orders.
