She asserts her leadership among the Wise Ones, acknowledges Egwene's Amyrlin status, and promises not to interfere with Merana Ambrey's mission to Rand, while displaying hidden shame when Egwene mentions Merana. Egwene takes Amys's hand during their farewell.

Amys arrives at the Sun Palace, dismisses Kiruna and Bera, and stands watch over Rand alongside Cadsuane, her expression unreadable.
