Alviarin — aliases: the Keeper of the Chronicles (Il Custode delle Cronache)

Alviarin riferisce ad Elaida, rimandando la rivelazione dell'identità della ribelle Amyrlin fino alla fine dell'udienza. Dopo aver lasciato Elaida, si presenta alla Prescelta Mesaana, inginocchiandosi in segno di sottomissione. Mesaana esige obbedienza assoluta, minacciando di estinguere Alviarin per qualsiasi condivisione non autorizzata di informazioni, e le offre di insegnarle personalmente. Alviarin deduce che Mesaana risiede all'interno della Torre, interpretando l'incapacità della Prescelta di canalizzare in questa forma come una necessità di nascondimento.

Chapter 32 - Sealed to the Flame

Alviarin — aliases: Keeper

Alviarin reports to Elaida on the disaster at Dumai's Wells and the existence of hundreds of male channelers. She subtly blackmails Elaida by implying she knows of Elaida's impending fall, forcing the Amyrlin to accept her advice to abandon the rescue of prisoners and to stir discord among the Ajahs by punishing specific sisters for keeping angreal.
