Chesmal Emry, une ancienne Aes Sedai de l' Ajah Jaune, est identifiée par son regard intense et ses mains tremblantes alors qu'elle se soumet à Moghedien. Elle reste liée à Liandrin et Asne tandis que Moghedien lui confie la tâche la plus importante concernant Nynaeve.

Chesmal helps support Moghedien after she returns wounded. She exchanges confused glances with Temaile regarding Moghedien's interaction with Liandrin and later tells Liandrin that she might as well be stilled.
