Chapter 5 - Among the Wise Ones
Bair — aliases: Wise One (Sage)
Bair réprimande Egwene pour son retard et discute de la capacité des Aiel à endurer le changement avec les autres Vieilles Femmes. Elle révèle la punition infligée à Aviendha pour avoir menti et se moque des perspectives romantiques de Melaine, avant d'ordonner à Egwene et Aviendha de faire cinquante tours de camp en guise de punition pour leur entêtement.
Chapter 22 - Birdcalls by Night

Bair rejoint Amys et Melaine sur les lieux de la destruction du Draghkar. Elle rit aux éclats en acceptant un pari d'Amys concernant les sentiments de Dorindha, puis s'éloigne avec Melaine pour chercher des perturbations, laissant Egwene s'occuper de Rand.
Chapter 23 - “The Fifth, I Give You”
Bair — aliases: Wise One (Sage)
Bair walks with the Wise Ones near Rand, scurrying back to the group after Sorilea rebukes Melaine for thinking of a husband rather than attending to Amys.
Chapter 24 - A Message Sent

Bair arrives with Amys, scowling and delivering a harsh lecture to both Egwene and Elayne about their foolishness and lack of discipline in entering the dream world alone.
Chapter 53 - Fading Words
Bair
Bair pushes past Rand with the other Wise Ones to assist in examining the injured Egwene.
