Nynaeve uses a linked bracelet and necklace to test the possibility of healing stilling, successfully connecting with Siuan, Leane, and the captive Moghedien to confirm that the Power can be restored.
Chapter 7 - A Matter of Thought
Nynaeve
Nynaeve brushes her hair and prepares for sleep before entering Tel'aran'rhiod. She joins Siuan and Leane and later helps guide the Aes Sedai through the nightmare, though she remains outside the cavern with Elayne. She is present during the escape and departs with the others.
Chapter 8 - The Storm Gathers

Nynaeve wakes grumpy, reflects on her failed dream search for Rand, and finds Moghedien doing laundry. She observes Logain speaking to Altaran nobles, has a stern conversation with Lelaine about her potential healing efforts, and is pressured by Theodrin to submit to block-breaking training. After colliding with Dagdara, she teaches Moghedien to detect male channeling before Elayne arrives with news of Elaida's emissary.
Chapter 12 - Questions and Answers

Nynaeve interacts with Moghedien, who challenges her composure, and then seeks Birgitte's help to spy on the Sitters, a request Birgitte refuses due to past trauma. She endures a tedious interrogation by Janya and Delana about Rand, then eavesdrops on Tarna and the Sitters discussing a mysterious 'biddable child' before being caught by Theodrin, who announces her intention to break Nynaeve's channeling block immediately.
Chapter 13 - Under the Dust
Nynaeve — aliases: the wilder, crippled wilder
Nynaeve undergoes a grueling day of channeling exercises with Theodrin, finally breaking her block through frustration and anger. She argues with Elayne about staying in Salidar, confronts Tarna Feir's recruitment efforts, and travels to Tel'aran'rhiod where she helps Elayne find a cache of ter'angreal and angreal in Ebou Dar.
Chapter 14 - Dreams and Nightmares

Nynaeve is woken by a nightmare attack in Salidar and initially finds herself unable to channel, forcing her to help physically. She later links with Anaiya and others to suppress the chaotic objects, noting the lack of Forsaken involvement and Anaiya's disappointment when she reveals the source was a 'bubble of evil' rather than a Dark One agent.
Chapter 15 - A Pile of Sand

Nynaeve observes Tarna's departure, argues with Sheriam and the Sitters about the weather bowl, and yells at them for their inaction before being punished.
Chapter 29 - Fire and Spirit
Nynaeve — aliases: Accepted
Nynaeve waits outside the Little Tower, frustrated by the heat and her lack of progress, before being joined by Elayne and Thom. She later visits Logain, probes his channeling with the One Power, and unexpectedly heals him completely, then commands Elayne to find Sheriam to report the breakthrough.
Chapter 30 - To Heal Again

Nynaeve accidentally heals Logain al'Thor of his gentling, then successfully heals Siuan and Leane from stilling. She endures a grueling session of demonstrations for the Yellow Ajah, who compete to break her channeling block, and later allows Siuan and Leane to visit her to request another attempt at healing her to their full strength.
Chapter 36 - The Amyrlin Is Raised

Nynaeve arrives with Elayne to congratulate Egwene, pulls her own braid in a friendly gesture, and reveals that she and Elayne found a weather-controlling bowl in Ebou Dar within the World of Dreams, requesting permission to go retrieve it.
Chapter 37 - When Battle Begins
Nynaeve — aliases: Accepted
Nynaeve brings Moghedien into Egwene's study and allows Egwene to take the a'dam, displaying visible frustration at her inability to regain her anger or channel freely. Later, she attends her scheduled block-breaking session with Romanda, hopping on one foot while gossiping about the Amyrlin's complaints as part of the exercise.
Chapter 38 - A Sudden Chill

Nynaeve appears suddenly to confront Mat, leading him through the crowd and into the Little Tower. She is shocked to see Egwene as Amyrlin and mutters complaints about Rand's influence as she guides Mat to his destination.
Chapter 40 - Unexpected Laughter

Nynaeve is seen hurriedly walking through Salidar, looking over her shoulder to avoid Mat Cauthon when she spots him approaching. She deliberately moves in the opposite direction and hides behind people and carts to evade interaction with him.
Chapter 44 - The Color of Trust
Nynaeve
Nynaeve rides out with the group, hiding behind her mare when she sees Mat approaching, and later exchanges irritated looks with Elayne before catching up to the older Aes Sedai.
Chapter 47 - The Wandering Woman
Nynaeve
Nynaeve avoids Mat, glares at him, and is visibly tense about Vandene and Adeleas, reacting sharply to his approach at the inn stable.
Chapter 48 - Leaning on the Knife
Nynaeve — aliases: Aes Sedai, Yellow Ajah
Nynaeve dries herself and dresses in a dark green gown, struggling to maintain composure after being dismissed by Merilille Ceandevin in Ebou Dar. She joins the group in meeting Queen Tylin, where she defensively asserts her age and status as a Yellow Ajah Aes Sedai, later laughing aloud in relief after Elayne's wager and sticking her tongue at a staring servant.
