Prologue

Moghedien — aliases: Marigan (Marigan), Forsaken (Abandonné)

Maintenue captive sous le couvert de Marigan, Moghedien permet à Nynaeve d'utiliser un lien ter'angreal pour détecter la présence de l'immobilisation, tout en fournissant des informations sur l'Âge de Légendes et sur la météo. Nynaeve interprète cette détection comme la preuve que l'immobilisation pourrait être guérie.

Moghedien is forced to do laundry in the yard, reacting with shame and outrage. She later participates in a lesson with Nynaeve, teaching the forms to detect a man's channeling while Nynaeve guides the flows, displaying a mix of fear and professional satisfaction.

Moghedien — aliases: Marigan (Marigan)

Moghedien sits calmly while Nynaeve sweats, mocking Nynaeve's fear and the Aes Sedai's potential to torture her. She suggests Nynaeve and Elayne flee to Rand, asserting that she is now more of an equal than a captive.

Chapter 37 - When Battle Begins

Moghedien — aliases: Marigan (Marigan)

Moghedien, disguised as the woman 'Marigan', appears before Egwene under the control of the a'dam. She reveals her identity by shifting her appearance back to her true form, then explains how to travel by making places in the Pattern identical. She cowers in terror when Egwene threatens her and watches in shock as Egwene creates a gateway.
