A dream-projection of Leane appears behind the table in the Amyrlin’s study, speaking with a brisk voice to chide Egwene and Galad for their attempted intimacy in that location.

Chapter 26 - Sallie Daera

Leane rides Moonflower, assisting with the frail Logain. She uses her usual demeanor to manage the group's approach and proves her identity to the local Aes Sedai through shared memories. She is subsequently taken away by Sheriam and the others for interrogation.

Chapter 27 - The Practice of Diffidence

Leane supports Siuan's position by agreeing with Siuan's assessment of Elaida and offering to reactivate her own network of agents in Tar Valon. She then introduces the strategy of establishing a legitimate Hall of the Tower in exile to politically undermine Elaida, playing the cooperative partner to Siuan's manipulative front.
