Bair reprende a Egwene por su tardanza y discute con las demás Sabias sobre la resistencia de los Aiel al cambio. Revela el castigo impuesto a Aviendha por mentir y se burla de las perspectivas románticas de Melaine, antes de ordenar a Egwene y a Aviendha que corran cincuenta vueltas alrededor del campamento como castigo por su terquedad.
Chapter 22 - Birdcalls by Night

Bair se une a Amys y Melaine en la escena de la destrucción del Draghkar. Se ríe a carcajadas al aceptar una apuesta de Amys sobre los sentimientos de Dorindha, y luego se aleja con Melaine para buscar perturbaciones, dejando a Egwene para que se encargue de Rand.

Bair walks with the Wise Ones near Rand, scurrying back to the group after Sorilea rebukes Melaine for thinking of a husband rather than attending to Amys.

Bair arrives with Amys, scowling and delivering a harsh lecture to both Egwene and Elayne about their foolishness and lack of discipline in entering the dream world alone.
Chapter 53 - Fading Words

Bair pushes past Rand with the other Wise Ones to assist in examining the injured Egwene.
