Chapter 9 - A Signal

Chapter 10 - Figs and Mice
Elayne
Elayne wakes up paralyzed by forkroot tea and struggles to touch saidar while being held in a room above the seamstress's shop. After Thom and Juilin rescue her and Nynaeve, she helps disguise herself with white henpepper to evade capture, and they escape in a coach with Thom driving, leaving Ronde and Luci to be found asleep by Therin Lugay.
Chapter 13 - A Small Room in Sienda

Elayne endures the bumpy coach ride and Nynaeve's sulking, eventually forcing a peace by offering to take on the maid role. She confronts Valan Luca with skepticism regarding his claims about Shara and pays him a meager sum to leave. In Sienda, she maintains her disguise while observing the tension between Whitecloaks and Amadian soldiers, then secures a room at The Light of Truth where she retrieves a stone ring to facilitate dreamwalking.
Chapter 16 - An Unexpected Offer

Elayne wakes and advocates for a riverboat route to Tear to avoid Whitecloak scrutiny. She encounters her brother Galad in the inn's dining room, listens to his warnings about the Tower and Amadicia, and quickly fabricates an excuse to flee the inn before he can turn her in, masking her concern with urgency and concealing her past romantic history with Thom Merrilin.
Chapter 17 - Heading West

Elayne escapes Sienda in disguise, pays off Luca to join his menagerie, and performs a dangerous rope walk to prove her worth. She later discovers Cerandin is Seanchan and inadvertently triggers the woman's instinctive submission to her as a High Lady.

Elayne appears in the dream wearing elegant silk, explaining that Nynaeve is nursing a headache from a fight with a bear trainer. She reveals that her group has encountered a Seanchan woman with an a'dam and discusses the potential threat of the Seanchan returning.
Chapter 25 - Dreams of Galad

Elayne appears in a white sequined costume and performs a complex highrope routine, including cartwheels and handstands, without using the One Power to maintain secrecy. She is surrounded by guards and praised by the crowd, remaining composed and regal throughout the ordeal.
Chapter 40 - The Wheel Weaves
Elayne — aliases: the Daughter-Heir of Andor
Elayne appears with Birgitte at the menagerie, scolding Nynaeve for her reckless behavior and the resulting rumors. She expresses doubt about trusting Galad until she concludes they can trust him based on his oath, then watches the archery demonstration with skepticism and concern for Nynaeve's wellbeing.
Chapter 47 - The Price of a Ship

Elayne and Nynaeve bicker over their confinement and attire before learning of the city's unrest. Elayne packs her belongings in silence, creating a large bundle that includes the a’dam and the dark box. She walks with the group, ignores the Whitecloaks, and pays the ship captain for passage. She stands with Galad as he warns them about Rand al’Thor, looking flustered during the parting.
Chapter 49 - To Boannda
Elayne
Elayne travels aboard the Riverserpent, initially clashing with Nynaeve over channeling the wind and dealing with Neres. She helps tend to the refugees, gives out sweets to children, and uses ter'angreal to dreamwalk with Nynaeve to the White Tower. She learns of Rand's victory and the political situation in Tar Valon, and later helps Nynaeve confront Egwene in the dream world.
Chapter 50 - To Teach, and Learn
Elayne
Elayne participates in the interrogation, displaying regal composure despite her indignation at being treated as an Accepted. After the meeting, she confides in Min about Min's viewing of her romantic future with Rand, revealing the existence of a third woman in the prophecy. She attempts to help Min with laundry using channeling and prepares to stay in Salidar.
