Sie offenbart Aviendas Strafe für das Lügen und verspottet Melaines romantische Aussichten, bevor sie sowohl Egwene als auch Aviendha befiehlt, als Strafe für ihre Sturheit fünfzig Runden um das Lager zu laufen.

Chapter 22 - Birdcalls by Night

Bair joins Amys and Melaine at the scene of the Draghkar's destruction. She cackles as she accepts a wager from Amys about Dorindha's affections, then follows Melaine away to look for disturbances while leaving Egwene to deal with Rand.

Chapter 23 - “The Fifth, I Give You”

Bair — aliases: Wise One (Weiser)

Bair walks with the Wise Ones near Rand, scurrying back to the group after Sorilea rebukes Melaine for thinking of a husband rather than attending to Amys.

Chapter 24 - A Message Sent

Bair arrives with Amys, scowling and delivering a harsh lecture to both Egwene and Elayne about their foolishness and lack of discipline in entering the dream world alone.

Chapter 53 - Fading Words

Bair pushes past Rand with the other Wise Ones to assist in examining the injured Egwene.
