Stepper is Perrin's dun horse, present at the edge of the wagons and later having its reins tossed to Aram by Perrin as he dismounts.
Chapter 4 - Into Cairhien
Stepper
Stepper, Perrin’s dun horse, trots along with the column and is eventually led into the Sun Palace courtyard by a liveried servant.
Chapter 27 - To Be Alone
Stepper
Stepper, Perrin's dun stallion, is brought out of the palace stables, bridled, and ridden by Perrin to the assembly point in Ghealdan.
