Chapter 52 - There Is Neither Beginning Nor End

Description

Following the confrontation at the Eye of the World, Rand awakens among Aginor’s ashes to find himself forever changed by his use of the One Power. Reuniting with his companions, he discovers that while Egwene, Nynaeve, and Moiraine know his terrible secret, the others remain unaware of his ability to channel. The group recovers three significant artifacts from the now-empty Eye: a broken seal from the Dark One’s prison, the Horn of Valere, and the Dragon’s Banner. As they prepare to leave, the sanctuary of the Green Man begins to wither, with the Blight already encroaching upon the once-pristine grove. Though their immediate mission appears complete, Moiraine’s words hint at greater challenges ahead, particularly for Rand, who must now face the reality of his power and destiny, even as she permits him the temporary comfort of dreaming of home.
